Roman emperor, son of Constantine the Great. After his father's death in AD 337 he co-ruled with his brothers. He ruled Brittany, Spain and Gaul. He soon then conflicted with his brother Constans and in his attempt to invade Italy he was killed in a battle in AD 340.
